Nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine
Nutrition is one of the easiest ways (and sometimes the hardest) to alter ones health. If we are not eating a clean, nutritionally balanced diet how can our bodies perform the simplest of daily tasks over and over again in an efficient manor? Day to day we should eat a variety of foods which contain easily digested vitamins, minerals and other compounds needed by our body. We have to try to eat only when sitting down when we can appreciate the food which we are eating. With the use of traditional Chinese medicine you will be able to combine certain foods together which promote the digestion of each other while also learning which foods not too eat together. Certain foods promote digestion while others are difficult to digest. A cold raw salad is usually best suited to be eaten at the end of a meal because it is very difficult to digest. Just by changing the “layering” of your meal (eating salad at the end of a meal instead of the beginning) can create a much healthier and efficient digestion. |
